HARVARD SQUARE COMMENTARY

The HSC is late this week because I've been galavanting around the West and though I try to do my duties from afar, I find myself, after a day of climbing up trails I am too old to climb, feeling more like going to sleep than typing words that don't come easily out of a drowsy mind.

I took a lot of pictures on this tour and over the coming weeks I'll post some of them here for you.

In Utah, the world -- that is the world I normally think about -- seems far away. Actually, it seems unreal. I know in the back of my mind that it's still there but Utah in front of my face makes me forget.

Next week I'll be back to what I think of as normal, and I'll write more here.

While I'm winging home to Vermont, you send us some of your own thoughts and experiences.
